Who is Shandra?

I am a dedicated healthcare professional with nearly two decades of experience in revenue cycle and health information management within one of Colorado’s largest healthcare systems. Holding a Master of Business Administration with a specialization in Healthcare Management, I am a certified Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) and a Healthcare Technical/Software Support (CHTS-TS) professional.

Beyond my career, I am a proud wife, mother, and Nana, deeply passionate about family and empowering women in their professional growth. My advocacy work is driven by personal experience—I am committed to the fight against Dementia and Alzheimer’s, having witnessed their devastating effects firsthand. I also champion youth development through organizations like Kappa League and the African-American Youth Leadership Conference, ensuring the next generation finds purpose and success. Additionally, I am devoted to raising awareness and eliminating the stigma surrounding PTSD, offering hope to those who struggle in silence.

Music has been a lifelong passion—I’ve been singing since I could talk! As a member of the dynamic vocal trio 3Mo’Mezzos, I cherish the joy that music brings. I’ve also had the privilege of performing in 13 community theater productions over the past several years, becoming a proud part of Colorado’s vibrant arts scene.

Representing the great state of Colorado on the Mrs. Colorado 2025 stage would be an incredible honor. I invite you to join me on this journey—please vote for me in early March (see People’s Choice Voting tab), and cheer me on at the pageant by purchasing your tickets here: AXS Ticket Link.

Together, let’s make a difference!
